Dr Phillips

Dr Phillips was born in Wales, UK. She initially studied within the field of Organic Chemistry, attaining a Master’s Degree and a PhD. She then switched to Medicine, completing her medical training at the University of Southampton. Moving to Perth in early 2019, she has been practising as a GP locally, before moving to join the team at Azure Medical.

Dr Phillips has a strong interest in teaching and is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia Medical School.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice, including the prevention and management of the wide variety of chronic health conditions we encounter. She has a special interest in women’s health including menopause treatment and the insertion of contraceptive implants.

She also has a special interest in Skin Cancer screening (skin checks) and management. She has completed further training in this area, having attained a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and a Certificate of Dermoscopy.

Dr Phillips will be delighted to see patients of all ages, both old and new, for GP consultations and skin check appointments.
