Dr Abbe Hollingworth
General Practitioner

Born and raised in Perth Dr. Abbe Hollingworth graduated from UWA in medicine. Whilst at University, she worked in hospitality and spent some time in Italy studying the culture and the language.

After working at Sir Charles Gardiner, Grayland’s and Hollywood Hospitals, she took time off to start a family with her husband.

Seeking a medical career where she could be involved in patient care and spend valuable time with her growing family, she followed her heart into General Practice.

Over the past 26 years, she has developed an understanding of the importance of nurturing a respectful relationship with all of her patients, from the very young to the very old, treating each as an individual.

In addition to spending time with her adult children she enjoys traveling, baking, learning French and building LEGO.

She likes to stay fit and practice a health lifestyle for her mind, body and soul.

She is honoured to be joining such a dynamic team at Azure Medical, where the approach to patient centred care aligns with her core values of individualized patient care.’

Her special interest areas include Family Planning, Child and Adolescent Health, Preventative medicine and immunization’s, women’s health including contraception and menopause. Mental Health and Eating disorders, travel medicine, Aged care and Palliative care.
